I took this image at about 11:30am on Saturday morning. Towers like that so relatively early in the day are a good indication of a fairly unstable atmosphere.
As such, I was not terribly surprised when we were in Tucson later that afternoon and the kids called to tell us there was hail at our house (back closer to where this picture was taken).
