I've been to Costa Rica and it's a superb place for birding and wildlike in general. However, I'd argue that there's greater credibility in achieving results like these in your own back yard.
Thanks Paul. lol, it seems like the solution is to just to both … keep practicing in my backyard so that when I do make it to the exotic locations getting the shot will feel natural.
Great job, Todd. Most of the time when I see things like these in my yard, I don't have my camera or phone with me. Guess, I need to start taking them out with me.
Oh, I’ve experienced that plenty myself Cyn. In fact when we had the trantula at work a couple of weeks ago it was literally the only day in like a month that I didn’t bring my camera to the office … so had to settle for phone pictures.
So much to admire in these beauties. Great to see the chrysalis. Mourning doves are so lovely.
Thanks Tamara! I'm glad you liked the shots. Hope you're have a good Saturday.

Of course, I've just started eating my coleslaw as you present this pic!
