Yes, thermal riding is a favorite, but you may also be right about teaching the youngsters in that mix too. Nice little female vermillion flycatcher. I have only seen the male - WOW - but the females are valuable, too.
Yes, the male vermilion flycatchers are obviously bright red spectacular. But some of my favorite pictures of this bird over the years are of the females.
So, we have Whistling Kites here in Austria all around our property and I too, have seen multiple circle like you say in massive groups. Everytime I watch in Awe.
These photos are insane Todd, maybe I should take up photography, it’s inspiring me to look a little closer.

Those whistling kites sound amazing, and yes you probably should take some pictures of them. 😁
I actually did take some video, I wonder if I kept it though, I’ll report back if I did!
Cool, thanks!
Fantastic photos! What a great way to spend time off of work.
Yes, I try to make it a habit to bring my camera with me to the office, then swing by at least that little pond on the way home.
Beautiful, love the lizard!
Yes, it looks like he’s shedding his skin. My mom love lizards, so I try to take pictures of them whenever I can.
Our daughter has a Leopard Gecko that is the sweetest thing ever.
Great set. My favourite is the dragonfly, though.
If you told me I could only take pictures of one kind of wildlife going forward, I might just choose dragonflies.
lol, yes, sometimes patience is definitely required ... and sometimes you just look up and they're sitting right in front of you. 😁
