Ever since I learned about the Ziggurats, I’ve wanted to see them. I doubt it will ever be safe in my lifetime but that has to have been the experience of a lifetime.
To be real, I’m kind of shocked that it was considered “safe enough” when I was there in 2009/2010. At the time it didn’t really register how you unique of an experience it was likely to be … but in hindsight, I think you are correct that this was not a “once in a lifetime” for me, but something that would be very hard for anybody else to replicate.
